Daisy slippers

These cute slippers is made of yarn from Viking of Norway. You increase until you have 48 stitches. This fits for shoe size 38 to 41 (Norwegian sizes). I have explained how to do it in the pattern, there I also describe how you can make them bigger or smaller. I used crochet hook 3,5 mm.

  • Shoe size 35-37: 42 st1tp
  • Shoe size 38-41: 48 st

Abbreviation

  • st = stitches
  • dc = double crochet
  • ch = chain stitches
  • sl st = slip stitches
  • tc = treble crochet
  • sc = single crochet

Round 12tp

12 dc in magic ring. Fasten with sl st in first dc.

Round 2

3 ch=1 dc, 2 dc in next st. *1 dc, 2 dc in next st*. Repeat from * to * . Fasten round with sl st. (18 st)

Round 3

3 ch=1 dc, 2 dc in next st. *1 dc, 2 dc in next st*. Repeat from * to *. Fasten round with sl st. (27 st)

4tpRound 4

3 ch=1 dc, 2 dc in next 2 st *2 dc in next st, 1 dc in next 3 st* Repeat fro * to *. Fasten round with sl st. (33 st)

Round 5

3 ch=1 dc, 2 dc in next 2 st *2 dc in next st, 1 dc in next 3 st* Repeat fro * to *. Fasten round with sl st. (41 st). If you are going to make slippers in the size 35-37 you ad one more dc in the end of the round and get 42 stitches, then continue to crochet 42 dc in each round.

 

 

Round 65tp

For slippers in size 38-41 continue to increase:

3 ch=1 dc, 1 dc in next 4 st, 2 dc in next st. *1 dc i next 5 st, 2 in next st*, repeat from * to *. In the end of the round you increase with 1 extra dc and you get 48 st. Fasten with sl st.

Round 7 to 11

For slippers in size 42-45 increase til you get 52 st in round 7. For other sizes crochet without increasing. For slippers in size 35-37 make 9 or 10 rounds. Measure on your foot to get the right size.

Round 12 – Sole

Sole for size 35-37:

Start round with 5 sl st in 5 st, turn and chain 3=1 dc, then 9 dc, continue in rows with 10 dc in each row. Measure on your foot to get the right size.

Sole for size 38-41:

Start round with 6 sl st in 6 st, turn and chain 3=1 dc, then 11 dc. Continue in rows with 12 dc in each row. Measure on your foot to get the right size. I made 12 rows for size 41.

Sole for size 42-45:

Start round with 7 sl st, turn and chain 3=1 dc, then 13 dc. Continue in rows with 14 dc in each row. Measure on your foot to get the right size.

 

 

Sides and heels

Start on the left side as shown in the picture and crochet 20 dc on side, 10/12/ dc on heel, and 20 dc on the other side. Crochet 6 rows to make the heel and the sides.

The slippers gets very cute with a white edge. Before you start to make the picots crochet 1 round with sc.

  1. 1 sc
  2. Chain 5
  3. Fasten with sl st in first ch
  4. Skip 1 st and crochet…
  5. 2 sc
  6. Chain 5
  7. Fasten with sl st in first ch
  8. Skip 1 st and crochet 2 sc

Repeat around the edge. Slipper without daisy:

Make 2 daisies. The link will take you to the pattern for granny squares with daisies. Crochet the two first rounds and you have a daisy.
